In your role as an Electrical/ Electronics Engineer, you will be responsible for performing system-wide analysis, diagnostics and repair of legacy equipment on software and/or hardware systems for the Mode-S Beacon Radar that supports National Airspace System (NAS).
You will also be responsible for the following:
o Circuit Design
o Electronic Schematic/ Layout Design
o Write procedures and other required documentation for hardware modifications
o Diagnose and repair hardware and build custom cable harnesses
Qualifications:
·B.S. in Electrical Engineering or in Electrical/Electronic Engineering Technology (BSEE or BSEET) with 5 years of related work experience in the specific engineering principle or
Master’s Degree in Engineering with 3 years of related work experience in the specific engineering discipline.

·Technical proficiency of the following:
o RTOS, Round Robin, Round Robin with Interrupts architecture
o Spice Simulator, LabView
o Linux and Windows Operating systems
o Understanding of Digital Logic Circuits (Xilinx, Altera)
o C, C++, VHDL, Verilog, Python
o Understanding circuit operating in the Radio Frequency Bandwidth
o Signal Simulation (Matlab/Simulink)
o C, C++
o Working with Microcontrollers 32-bit, 8-bit
·Able to clearly communicate technical issues with non-technical personnel, follow directions, manage time efficiently, think outside the box and meet organizational deadlines
-Must be able to climb 20+ feet. Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
·This position requires for work to be performed at the William J Hughes Technical Center and may require up to 25% travel to airport locations all around the US when scheduling dictates or at management discretion.
